GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- For the second time this season, Raghav Sharma has been named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week. 

A Sophomore defender from Austin, Texas, Sharma is making his impact on both ends of the soccer field. Sharma continued to lead a Pirate defensive effort that allowed just six shots, two on target, in a pair of crucial SCAC wins over Dallas and Austin College at home last weekend. The Pirates have allowed just six goals in SCAC play this year, tied for the second-fewest in the league, as  Southwestern is now tied for second in the conference standings going into the final weekend of the regular season. Additionally, Sharma scored his team-leading sixth goal of the year in the win over Dallas, which proved to be the game-winner.
