Reagan Fortner Named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The United Soccer Coaches (USC) released the 2022 Scholar All-America Teams this week. Reagan Fortner, a junior defender from Houston, Texas, has earned USC Scholar All-American Third Team for his efforts in the classroom and on the field. Fortner met each requirement for earning Scholar All-American status, including being a junior or above in athletic standing at the current institution, having at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout their career, and playing a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season of nomination as well as being an elite player as supported by playing honors (i.e., All-American, All-Region, minimum all-conference). In addition to being named First Team All-SCAC, Fortner earned USC Second Team All-Region honors for the second time in his career this year. Fortner achieved a 3.61 GPA while working towards his degree in Business and is making his first appearance on the prestigious Scholar All-American Team.
