SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Trinity capitalized on a penalty kick just before halftime and held on to defeat Southwestern 1-0 Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southwestern was aggressive at the outset of the match and had two shots and two corners before Trinity jumped to action.
- After a very even half, Trinity took the lead in the 35th minutes on a penalty kick.
- The Pirates were held scoreless the rest of the way despite some great goal scoring opportunities.
