Benner started two games for the Pirates this season, logging 180 minutes in goal. He posted 14 saves for a .824 save percentage, allowing three goals for a 1.50 goals against average while going 1-1 on the year. Benner had a season-high 11 saves in Southwestern’s 2-0 loss to UC Santa Cruz on November 1st. He was a member of the Fall SCAC Academic Honor Roll.
