2013

Chaltain played in 20 games this season, taking four shots on the year from the defensive line. He was an All-SCAC Honorable Mention selection and earned a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. 

2012

Chaltain appeared in 19 games for Southwestern in his second season. Although he did not record any offensive statistics he helped a Pirate defense post eight shutouts on the year. Chaltain was also named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll for a second straight year. 

2011

Chaltain played in 6 games in his first season with the Pirates. He took two shots. Matthew was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. 

 

High School

Matthew earned varsity letters in soccer while competing for the Mavericks.  Matthew was named to the First Team All-Region and All-District Teams his senior year.  He was also named the team MVP of the 2011 state finalists. 

Personal

Matthew is the son of Jeanne and Christopher and has one brother, Jonathan.  Matthew is a mathematics major with a business minor at SU.
