Last year's tournament champion Centenary College (22-13 overall; 13-7 SCAC) is back to defend its crown as the third-seeded Gents will play second-seeded Trinity University (25-14 overall; 16-5 SCAC) in Friday's second game, which is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT. 

Regular season champion Texas Lutheran University (27-13 overall; 17-4 SCAC) earned the top seed for this year's championship and will take on fourth-seeded Southwestern University (25-12 overall; 12-7 SCAC) in Friday's first game, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. The two just tangled over the final regular season weekend with Texas Lutheran coming away with the three-game sweep against the Pirates, who were receiving votes in the most recent D3baseball.com Top 25 rankings and were the only SCAC team receiving votes in the initial NCAA Region X rankings. 

Trinity is also receiving votes in the D3baseball.com Top 25 rankings.

The double elimination tournament begins Friday, May 5 at The Depot at Cleburne Station in Cleburne, Texas and continues through Sunday, May 7. All games will be live-streamed through the league's partnership with Sportsgram.
