GEORGETOWN, Texas – Due to recent heavy rains in the Richardson area, Tuesday's non-conference game between Southwestern and Texas-Dallas has been canceled. The contest will not be made up at a later date.

The Pirates (13-22, 6-8 SCAC) will resume play this weekend against league-leading Texas Lutheran.

Southwestern, which is still in the hunt for a playoff spot, leads Dallas by two games in the current SCAC standings. The Pirates can finish as high as the third seed.

Southwestern will host the Bulldogs on Friday and Saturday at Rockwell Field. The series is scheduled to open at 6 p.m. Friday with a single game. The two teams also will play a doubleheader at 1/4 p.m. the following day.

The Pirates will honor their nine seniors on Saturday.
