2013 (Senior)

Gottardy placed in 28 games for Southwestern and hit .141 on the year. He added 10 RBIs and recorded a .950 fielding percentage. He was also named the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2012 (Junior)

Gottardy played in 26 games for the Pirates. He went 19-70 at the plate for a .271 batting average, which was fifth best on the team. He recorded 2 doubles, 15 walks, and scored 10 runs. His .391 on-base percentage was second highest on the team. 

2011 (Sophomore)

Gottardy appeared in 31 contests, starting 20 of those, for the Pirates. In 84 at bats he posted 27 hits and 12 runs with one double and one triple while driving in 11.

2010 (First-Year)

Appeared in 16 games for the Pirates...had 7 hits in 21 at bats for a .333 batting average...finished with a 1.000 fielding percentage.

High School

Lance earned seven varsity letter is high school; three in baseball, two in football, and two in powerlifting.  Lance was a Academic All-State selection in 2009, Academic All-State Elite football selection in 2008, baseball All-State selection in 2009, baseball All-District selection in 2008 and 2009, and a member of the state semifinalist baseball team in 2007.

Personal

Lance is the son of Brian and Patsy.  Lance is a Kinesiology major and a Business minor at SU. Lance made the Dean's List Fall 2011 SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll 2010 & 2012 and is a Member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Pirate Crew and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
