GEORGETOWN, Texas - Saturday's annual Shirley Miller Alumni Game that marks the opening of the Pirate baseball season has been canceled due to the excessive amounts of rain Central Texas has received in the last 24 hours. All alumni will be invited and honored at a future Pirate home game yet to be determined.

The Pirates will open their season on Sunday at Houston-Victoria. Their first home game is on Saturday, February 6th as they face Concordia University in a double-header beginning at noon.
