• Volleyball Honored for Academic Accomplishments

    LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced this summer that 481 teams have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2010-2011 season including Southwestern University. This number once again breaks the previous years' total of 450 and sets a new all-time high for this award.
  • 18 Pirates Earn Chi Alpha Sigma Honors

    Southwestern University had 18 student-athletes inducted into the 2011 class of the Chi Alpha Sigma National Athletic Honor Society on Wednesday. This award is presented annually to juniors and seniors who have earned an athletic letter, carry a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or better and are community members in good standing.
