THOMPSON NAMED SCAC CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SUWANEE, Ga. - Lindsay Thompson, a junior middle blocker from Austin, Texas has been named SCAC Volleyball Co-Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 13 through Sunday, September 19. She shares the honor with Emily Perkins from Colorado College.

Thompson had 55 kills in 17 sets for a 3.24 kills/set average and had only 10 errors for a .375 hitting percentage. She also led the Pirates in blocks with 22 to lead Southwestern to a perfect 4-0 conference record.

The Pirates continue SCAC Conference action this weekend in Sewanee, TN at the West/East Cross. They begin against host institution Sewanee at 2pm on Saturday.
