GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The NCAA DIII Men's Track and Field High Jump competition came to a close at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Friday. Southwestern University was represented in the field of twenty by USTFCCCA All-West Region performer Adrian Washington. Washington, a senior from McKinney, Texas, ended his collegiate career finishing in a tie for eleventh in the field along with two other athletes, falling short of a 2.05 meter height on his third jump. Washington earned eleventh place with a clearance of 1.95 meters followed by clearing the 2.00 meter mark (6-6 3/4). His jump of two meters marked the third time in the 2024 season he had cleared that height.
