Medrano has the second fastest time in the 800, running in 2:15.44 at the Tiger Relays and had the fastest times for the Pirates in the 1500 and 500 with a time of 4:20.89 and 16:44.24 at the SCAC Championships.
2013
Medrano was a member of the Pirate track & field team.
High School
A 2011 graduate, Medrano earned letters in track and cross country for the Eagles. He was the 2010 team MVP and 2010 District 14 5A Athlete-of-the-Year.
Personal
Alex is the son of Angela and Alfred Medrano and has two siblings, Alfred and Robert. He is majoring in computer science at Southwestern.
