2014
Devine had a huge first season in the field events for the Pirates as the top thrower in the shot put. He had a season best throw of 12.20 meters at the SCAC Championships, winning the event and earning All-SCAC honors while setting a new SU record. He was the fourth best for the Pirates in the hammer with a toss of 28.45 meters. Devine was named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week during the second week of the season. He was also a member of the Pirate football team.
High School
Devine was an all-district honoree in football following his junior and senior season. He was a three-year letterman at Colleyville Heritage High School.
Personal
Will is the son of Dan and Kathy Devine. He plans to major in history education at Southwestern.
