2013-14

Withers earned a top 10 finish for the Pirates in the 1650 posting a time of 17:52.15. He also finished 11th at the SCAC Championships in the 400 individual medley swimming to a time of 4:28.57. Withers also earned a top time at the SCAC Championships in the 500 free with a time of 5:04.30.

2012-13

Withers was again a top swimmer for the Pirates in the IM grabbing the team’s third best time in the 100 IM and 400 IM. He earned a time of 4:27.59 at the SCAC Championships in the 400 IM while swimming to the third best time in the 500 free at 5:01.35.

2011-12

Withers swam SU-best times in the 200 IM (2:09.81) and the 400 IM (4:25.70). His time in the 400 IM broke a Southwestern record. Daniel was also named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team. 

High School

Daniel earned four varsity letters while swimming for the Scots.

Personal

Daniel is the son of John and Mojgan and has two brothers, Robert and Michael.  Daniel is majoring in biology and Spanish with a minor in chemistry at Southwestern. He is a member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
