2013-14
Jones set a school record for the Pirates in the 100 butterfly while also earning all-SCAC honors with his 8th place finish at the SCAC Championships. His school record 51.97 in the 100 fly gave him three top 10 finishes at the SCAC Championships where he finished third in the 500 free and 200 fly with respective times of 4:40.94 and 1:53.85. His time in the 200 fly was also a NCAA B-cut although the first-year swimmer did not earn a spot at the NCAA Championships.
High School
Evan is a 2013 graduate of Ronald Reagan HS. During his senior year while he was the swim Team Captain, he was a Regional Medalist and a three-time district medalist. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal
Evan is the son of Troy and Stacy Jones and has one brother Eric. He is majoring in pre-engineering at Southwestern University and is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha.
