2012-13 (Sophomore)

Visser competed in the 200 breast and the 100 breast as well as diving in the 1 meter. He broke his own record in the 200 breast with a time of 2:11.76; however it was best by teammate Kyler Wood at the same meet, the SCAC Championships. He also earned the team’s second best point total in the 1 meter dives at 160.20 at the SCAC Championships. 

2011-12 (First-year)

Visser broke a Southwestern record in the 200 Breaststroke at the SCAC Championships with a time of 2:18.30. He also swam the breaststroke leg for Southwestern's 200 Medley Relay team that broke a school record with a time of 1:39.50.

High School:

Visser is a 2011 graduate of LD Bell High School where he earned two letters in swimming for the Raiders. He was the Bell Swimmer-of-the-Year his senior season and was a three-year regional qualifier.

Personal:  

Samuel is the son of David & Beth Ann Visser and he has two siblings, Kelli Self and Hunter. Samuel is majoring in Spanish with a minor in business.
