CARRIER INVITED TO DIII SWIMMING & DIVING NATIONALSMarch 05, 2009Senior Jessie Carrier (Victoria, Texas) has qualified for the 2009 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships. With a time of 23.78 in the 50-yard freestyle, Carrier qualified as the 20th seed. She will also swim the 100 Free and 200 Free at the National Championships. This is the first time in school history for a Southwestern swimmer or diver to be invited to the national meet.

THOMPSON WINS THE 200 YARD BACKSTROKE FOR FIRST TIME IN SCHOOL HISTORYFebruary 16, 2009The 2008-2009 Southwestern University Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams finished off the 2009 SCAC Championships with 4 additional school records, two NCAA B-Cuts and an event champion in the women's 200 Backstroke.
