Adrian Washington Earns Track & Field All-Region Honors

The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released its 2022 All-Region honors, naming Southwestern's men's track & field sophomore Adrian Washington for the West Region. 

Washington, a sophomore from McKinney, Texas, qualified for the All-Region team in the high jump with a height of 2.01 meters at the DIII Challenge hosted by Texas Lutheran on March 26, setting a new school record. His jump tied for fourth highest in the West Region. He is the first athlete from the men's team to earn All-Region honors, which started in 2016. 

The top-five individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-three ranked relay team. For the entire list of All-Region honors, click here.
