Southwestern University will host its inaugural Pirate Golf Classic at the Wildcat Golf Club in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on the Highlands course.

President Jake B. Schrum and Glada Munt, director of intercollegiate athletics, will serve as hosts of the event. A range of sponsorship opportunities are available, with all proceeds benefiting Southwestern's Department of Athletics.

Advance registration with payment is required by November 9, 2007. The tournament is limited to the first 96 registered golfers. Registration will not be complete until payment has been received.
