Started in all 28 games in his final season with the Pirates...averaged 21.7 minutes and 8.6 points per game...went 98-200 (49%) from the field...third on the team in three-point percentage at 42.1% (8-19)...shot 38-61 for 62.3% from the free throw line...led the team in rebounds with 151, 5.4 per game...recorded 32 assists, 39 blocks (team high) and 19 steals.

2007-2008 (Junior Year)
McDonald started 3 of 25 games in his junior campaign and saw action in 15 SCAC contests with 2 starts...logged 259 minutes on the floor (10.4 minutes per game) and in SCAC averaged 10.1 minutes per game...scored 123 total points (4.9 per game) and in SCAC contests averaged 5.8 points per game...shot 48-93 from the field for a FG percentage of .516 and in SCAC play his FG percentage jumped to .533 (32-60)...totaled 65 rebounds and in SCAC play grabbed 47 boards...had 13 assists, 20 blocks and 14 steals on the year...he led the Pirates with his 20 blocked shots averaging 0.8 per game...was second on the team in offensive rebounds with 20 (0.8 per game)...was sixth on the Pirates squad in scoring points (123) and points average at 4.9 per game...was fourth on the team in FT made (26)...led the team in blocked shots 12 times throughout the season with his season high of 4 vs. Austin College (2/24/08)...led the team in steals with 2 vs. Oglethorpe (1/26/08).

2006-2007 (Sophomore Year)
McDonald played in a total of 25 games and appeared in 13 SCAC games...logged 273 minutes playing, which 167 minutes were in SCAC play...led the team in FG-percentage at .500 going 50-100 from the floor...as well as had a FG-percentage of .500 in SCAC games shooting 26-52...was fifth on the team in FG attempts and fourth on the team with FGs made with 50...grabbed 47 rebounds on the year (29 in SCAC play)...ranked third on the team in offensive rebounds with 19...dished out 12 assists...led the team with 15 blocks...had 11 steals on the year...averaged 4.7 points per game which put him fifth on the team in scoring and sixth on the team with 117 points in his sophomore year...led the team in blocks with 2 vs. TLU (11/18/06), Hendrix (2/17/07), Centre (2/23/07), 1 at Centre (1/19/07) and Oglethorpe (1/26/07)...led the team in scoring and rebounds vs. Centre (1/19) with 12 points and 6 boards.

2005-2006 [First Year]
McDonald appeared in 15 games and saw action in 7 SCAC games...scored 20 points in his rookie season averaging 1.3 a contest...ranked sixth in FG-percentage at .500 going 6-12...was third on the team in 3-Pt percentage going 3 for 7 for .429%...grabbed 10 rebounds on the year and had 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in his first year as a Pirate.

High School
McDonald was an Academic All-State selection, a First Team All-District 15-5A pick and 3rd Team All-Central Texas selection for the Warriors.

Andrew is the son of Bob and Pattie McDonald...born on October 21, 1986...has one brother - Scott...is a Business major with a minor in History at SU.
