GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Luke Hatcher, a sophomore forward from Houston, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men's Basketball Player-of-the Week for games played from Monday, February 5 through Sunday, February 11. 

Hatcher led the Pirates to an SCAC split at home last weekend, highlighted by a 70-67 win over St. Thomas on Friday night. It marked the first win over the  Celts since St. Thomas joined the SCAC prior to the 2019-20 season. Hatcher averaged 25.5 points per game on an impressive 63 percent shooting, highlight ed by his fifth double-double of the season with a career-high 27-points and 12 rebounds in the win over St. Thomas. In addition to his 25.5 points per game,  Hatcher produced an impressive 9.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.5 assists, while shooting 50 percent from three and 77.8 percent from the free throw line.
