Men's '23-'24 Basketball Schedule Has Been Released

GEORGETOWN, TX- The 2023-2024 Men's Basketball schedule has been been released. 

Returning for his 4th year as Pirate's Head Coach, Connor Kuykendall had this to say about the upcoming 2023-2024 season, "I am really excited about this year's schedule; it might be our toughest non-conference schedule we've had since I've been here. It will be a great test for us as we get ready for SCAC play with a young team and a lot of new faces. This year the SCAC will be extremely deep and tough!!"

The Pirates start their preseason with two away games versus Concordia University and LeTourneau University early November. Their first home game of the season will be hosting Howard Payne on Nov 14, 2023. Southwestern University will be hosting the Paul Peak Classic and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps from California will play the Pirates on Nov 18, 2023. Traveling from Washington, Whitman will also be playing the Pirates on Sunday, November 19th. The Men's team will finish off preseason traveling to Brownwood, TX to take on Howard Payne on November 22nd and then to Richardson, TX for a game against UT Dallas. 

December 1st, they will start conference play hosting Trinity University and Schreiner on the 2nd. On December 5th, they will travel to St. Edwards University for an exhibition before resuming conference play at Colorado College on December 17th. They will take break from conference play to host the University of Chicago on Dec 19, 2023 and will travel to Trinity University on the 21st to play Luther. 

On December 29 and 30th, the Pirates host the University of Dallas and Austin College. They will start 2024 on the road, wrapping up the first cycle of Conference play against the University of St. Thomas and Centenary College. The Pirates will finish conference play versus Texas Lutheran on February 16, 2024, and will be looking to advance in the SCAC Conference Tournament February 23-25, 2024, hosted by the University of Dallas.
