ABILENE, Texas – The Pirates were outrebounded 50-36 in a 82-69 loss to Hardin-Simmons University Saturday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southwestern scored just eight field goals in the first 20 minutes and trailed 41-28 at halftime.
- Hardin-Simmons pushed their lead to 18 early in the second half and the Pirates were never able to recover despite shooting nearly 50 percent in the frame.
