SUWANEE, Ga. - Senior guard Nick Caputo (pictured, left) was named as an All-SCAC Second Team selection and junior forward Logan Hurley (pictured, right) earned Honorable Mention honors by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference on Saturday evening.

Caputo was a consistent threat on the perimeter for Southwestern and led the team and was second in the conference in made three pointers with 71 while averaging 15.4 points per game, second on the team and fourth in the conference. He was also third on the team in rebounds averaging four a game.

Caputo had a season high 28 points against Schreiner University on November 21 and recorded a double-double against Hendrix on February 4th scoring 23 points and grabbing a season high 12 rebounds. Against conference rival Trinity on December 3rd Caputo's three pointer with seven seconds left of the clock gave SU a 53-52 victory.

Hurley led the Pirates and was third in the SCAC in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game, while also leading SU in field goal percentage at 55.9%. He pulled down an average 5.5 rebounds per game which was second best on the team. Hurley scored a season high 27 points at Concordia on November 19th and pulled down nine rebounds three times this season.

The Pirates ended the season with 6-19 overall record, 4-12 in the SCAC.
