Women's Cross Country Competes In Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio — The Southwestern women's cross country competed as individuals in the Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble.

Lauren Calzado paced the Pirates with a time of 27:57.8, placing 250th. Grace Massey followed with a time of 28:43.4 to place 267th. Valerie Acosta returned to competition after missing an extended portion of her collegiate career due to injury, clocking in at 30:21.0 to finish in 291st place. 

In two weeks, Southwestern will compete in the SCAC Championships in San Antonio, Texas, on Oct. 30, hosted by Trinity University.
