PERSONAL RECORDS ABOUND AT SOUTH/SOUTHEAST REGIONAL

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Six of the seven Southwestern women's cross country runners ran personal or season best times at the South/Southeast Regional held at Rhodes College over the weekend. Sophomore Christina Hadly (pictured) was the top finisher for the Pirates coming in 44th place.

Hadly ran in a personal best time of 23:54 to finish tops for Southwestern. First-year Kara Koinis had her best showing of the season, notching a personal best time of 24:36 for 68th place. Fellow first-year Lilly Duarte was the third across the finish line for the Pirates, coming in 78th with a time of 24:53.

Senior Ursula James closed out her collegiate career in style by posting a personal best time of 25:17 to finish in 97th place. First-years Brandi Martin and Meg Greenfield also had personal best runs at the meet. Martin came in at 26:23 for 128th place while Greenfield finished in 168th in 28:19. Rounding out the Pirate runners was senior Lili McEntire who finishes her career on a high note with a season best time of 29:01 for 174th place.

The race marks the end of the 2010 cross country season.
