2013
 Broussard was the leader of the Pirate defense en route to earning First Team all-SCAC accolades. From his defensive end position, Broussard was second in the SCAC with 7 sacks and was fifth in the SCAC with 68 tackles. His 10.5 tackles for a loss was also fourth best in the league while adding two quarterback hurries. He earned a season-high 9 tackles three times on the year. Broussard posted one of the best performances of the season adding 3.0 tackles for a loss and 2.0 sacks against Texas Lutheran. Also a standout in the classroom, Broussard was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

High School
 Broussard was a two-time all-district selection at Monsignor Kelly High. He was also named second-team all-state for the Bulldogs and was voted team Defensive MVP.

Personal
 Justin is the son of Keith and Sonda Broussard. He plans to major in pre-physical therapy at Southwestern.
