SCAC Announces Spring 2013 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll

Three Pirates Earn NFCA All-Region Honors
May 13, 2013Led by Karen Ramirez’s Second Team selection, three Southwestern Pirates were named in the 2013 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-Region Team. Tessa Galloway and Abigail O’Connor were Third Team West All-Region selections.

Pirates Close Season at NCAA Regional
May 10, 2013The Pirate softball team made their second appearance in five years at the NCAA Regional and ended the year after falling to #5 UT Tyler and #13 Claremont Mudd Scripps on Friday.

Day One of NCAA Softball Regional Pushed Back
May 09, 2013TYLER -- The start of the 2013 Tyler Texas Regional has been pushed back due to heavy rains in the Tyler area. The game pitting UT Tyler and Southwestern scheduled to start at 11 a.m. has been pushed back to a 1 p.m. start.
