2014

Welch led the Pirates in assists with 755 on the year and 6.45 per set. Her 39 aces was also tops on the team. Welch added 329 digs, two blocks and 26 kills in her sophomore season. 

2013

Welch appeared in 140 sets for the Pirates and led SU in assists with 1049, 7.49 per set. She had a season high 57 assists against UMHB on November 15th in the first round of the NCAA Regional. Welch also had 38 kills and 33 aces on the year with 379 digs, fourth on the team. 

High School

Welch earned three letters in volleyball and one in softball for the Warriors. She was an Academic All-State pick in 2012 and Academic All-District in 2011 and 2010. Welch was also selected as co-captain of the team 2011-2012 and won the 2013 Austin Performance Pinnacle Award. 

Personal

Nikki is the daughter of Jim and MaryBeth Welch and has two siblings, Jenna and Josh. She is majoring in psychology.
