2014

Mitchell was a key player in her first season with the Pirates, averaging 2.02 kills per set, third most on the team. She posted an impressive .224 attack percentage and averaged .31 blocks per set while adding in 44 digs and eight assists. Mitchell was a member of the Fall SCAC Academic Honor Roll. 

High School

Mitchell earned three letters in volleyball and was a First Team All-League pick in 2012 while earning the Sportsmanship Award and repeated the First Team All-League selection in 2013. 

Personal

Kate is the daughter of Glenn and Emily Mitchell and has one sibling, Doug. She plans to major in kinesiology at Southwestern.
