
PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Southwestern men's cross country's Noah Dennis finished in the top 10 at the Concordia Cross Country Classic, placing seventh to lead the Pirates to a fourth-place finish.
Dennis ran a personal-best 26:37.3, averaging a 5:31.3 mile. Aidan Gomez clocked in at 26:58.1 to finish 14th, and Xander Bailey finished just outside the top 20, running a 27:36.2 to place 21st. C.P. Shaulis finished 27th with a 27:57.3, and Nathan Botros ran a 29:03.2 to finish 42nd. Doug Ginsberg ran a 29:32.3 to finish 48th.
Andrew Cutting (61st, 30:13.8), Luke Markey (65th, 30:43.0), and Gannon Hall (76th, 32:07.3) finished outside the top 50.
Southwestern will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the University of Incarnate Word Invitational in San Antonio, Texas.
