Emma White Headlines Three Pirates Named to Puget Sound Premiere All-Tournament Team

Three Southwestern volleyball players were named to the Puget Sound Premiere All-Tournament Team, headlined by outside hitter Emma White, who was named Most Outstanding Player. 

White led the Pirates with 36 kills on a .253 hitting percentage, averaging 3.27 kills per set over the weekend's three matches. She also finished second on the team with 47 digs, five aces, and two block assists. 

Right side Lauren Crabtree and libero Ali Grona also made the all-tournament team. Crabtree finished second on the team with 23 kills and finished with seven total blocks. Grona finished the tournament with 61 digs and four service aces. 

Southwestern went undefeated over the weekend, picking up wins over Pacific Lutheran, Whitman, and Puget Sound. The Pirates are 4-0 through the season's first week. Next weekend, Southwestern will travel to Richardson, Texas, to compete in the University of Texas at Dallas Fall Festival.
