
Southwestern volleyball sophomore Emma White was named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) All-Tournament Team over the weekend.
White recorded 14 digs, 11 kills, two service aces, and two block assists in the Pirates' 3-2 victory over the Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs in the opening round of the SCAC Championship Tournament.
The outside hitter from Lucas, Texas, finished the season with 147 kills in 13 matches, averaging 2.83 kills per set on a .209 hitting percentage. She also recorded 140 digs, 20 service aces, and 12 block assists.
The All-Tournament Team was announced following last weekend's championship match. The team included White, Mari Prazak of Austin College, Lexie Acevedo of Trinity, Emma Funk of Trinity, Georgia Mullins of Colorado College, Allie Freeburg of Colorado College, and Isabelle Aragon-Menzel of Colorado College. Aragon-Menzel was named the 2020-21 Tournament MVP. The SCAC Setter of the Year posted her 12th double-double of the year.
