Volleyball

2015

Played in 90 sets for the Pirates, averaging 3.39 digs per set and 1.21 kills per set…posted 109 kills with 50 errors on 407 attempts for a .145 attack percentage…her 305 digs on the year was fourth most…added 14 assists, seven aces and 11 blocks…posted a season-high 12 kills twice (vs. TLU and Trinity) and had 29 digs in the same Trinity match, helping the Pirates to an SCAC Championship. 

2014

Pool had an outstanding junior season, averaging 2.30 kills per set with 262 kills on the year, both second most on the team. She posted a .140 attack percentage with 24 assists and 22 aces. Her 460 digs was third most on the team with 14 blocks on the year. She was a First Team All-SCAC selection and was SCAC Defensive Player of the Week during Week 9 of the season while also earning a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll this fall. 

2013

Pool appeared in 123 matches for the Pirates and was second on the team in kills with 344 (2.80 per set) and third in digs with 429. She posted a .126 attack percentage on the season while also recording 15 assists, 23 aces and 29 blocks. Pool posted season highs in kills (19) three times this season and was in double-digits in kills in all but four of the last 18 games of the season. Pool was a Second Team All-SCAC selection while also earning a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll. She was also named the SCAC Player of the Week the eighth week of the season. 

2012

Pool appeared in 16 matches for the Pirates in her first season. She finished the year with 23 kills and a .129 hitting percentage. On the defensive side of the net she added 27 digs and three blocks. She had a season-high 10 kills to open the season against Dallas Christian. Pool was also a SCAC Academic Honor Roll selection as a standout in the classroom as well and was named to the Dean's List both semesters. 

High School 

Pool is a three-time letterwinner in volleyball for the Bearkats. She was a First Team All-District selection in 2010 and 2011 as well as team MVP both seasons. Pool is also a member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal

Macey is the daughter of Jim and Cindy Pool and has two siblings, Alexsey and Lindsey. She is majoring in business with minors in psychology and Spanish.
