LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Chandler Lentz, a sophomore defensive specialist/libero from Forney, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 17 through Sunday, September 23.

Lentz led Southwestern to a 3-0 record over the past week at the first SCAC Divisional of the year at Southwestern. Lentz posted 55 digs (5.00/set) and recorded nine aces, seven of which came against Dallas. Her nine service aces nearly set a school record.

They Pirates, now 11-4 on the year and 3-0 in the SCAC, face Howard Payne University on Tuesday night in Brownwood, Texas before taking the weekend off from action.
