Strickland Announced as SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Lacey Strickland, a first-year setter from Englewood, Colo., has been named SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 3 through Sunday, September 9.

Strickland recorded 93 assists on the weekend, averaging 10.3 per set. She also had a team high seven aces and posted three kills in eight attempts for a .375 hitting percentage.

The Pirates went 4-0 over the weekend to improve to 5-3 on the season. They head to San Antonio this weekend and return to national champion contender competition as they face Cal Lutheran, UC Santa Cruz, and Emory.
