Audra Gentry, a senior outside hitter from Albuquerque, N.M., has been named the SCAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 7 through Sunday, September 13.

Gentry led Southwestern in kills with 46 and posted a .324 hitting percentage. She averaged 3.54 kills per set, and 3.08 digs while leading the Pirates to a perfect 4-0 record during the week. Gentry reached double-digits in kills in three of four matches and led the team in kills in three of four matches.

The Pirates (6-3) look to extend their winning streak as they open conference action this weekend at the SCAC West/Central Crossover in San Antonio, Texas. SU opens the weekend against Millsaps on Friday at 12:00 pm.
