GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern men's swimming and diving team posted a 139-99 victory over Austin College in Saturday's season opener at Walzel Natatorium.

The Pirates captured nine victories on the day, including the 200-yard medley relay.

Peter Robinson won the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard backstroke. Simmon Belaineh was a part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished first, while he also logged victories in the 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard freestyle.

Southwestern will return to action next Friday, as the squad will compete against both Rhodes and Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark.
