GEORGETOWN, Texas – The Southwestern University men's swimming and diving team earned a 220.5-40.5 victory over Colorado College on Friday at Walzel Natatorium.

The Pirates earned 15 victories during the contest.

Simmon Belaineh earned the top time in the 100 freestyle after touching the wall at 48.22. He also won the 50-yard freestyle and helped the 400-yard medley relay team to a first-place finish.

Peter Robinson captured the 200-yard backstroke top spot after posting a time of 2:01.59. Mickey Scharbrough won the 200-yard breaststroke with a finish of 2:14.06.

Southwestern will return to action at 12 p.m. Saturday against Centenary.
