SUWANEE, Ga. -- The SCAC office announced the bracket for the 2023 Volleyball Tournament, which will begin Friday, November 10 and will be hosted by Southwestern University. Official Tournament Website | Bracket

Quarterfinal round play begins on Friday with St. Thomas and Schreiner scheduled for 10:30 am CT with Colorado College and Southwestern following at 1 pm CT. The semifinals follow later in the afternoon as Trinity takes on the winner of St. Thomas and Schreiner at 3:30 pm CT and Texas Lutheran tangles with the CC/Southwestern winner at 6 pm CT.

Trinity (26-4; 15-1 SCAC), the 13th-ranked team in the nation, earned the top seed to next weekend's SCAC championship tournament, the record 11th time the Tigers have been the tournament's top team in the seeding era (1997-99; 2007-present). 

Texas Lutheran (22-7; 12-4) clinched the second seed with Friday's 3-2 road win over St. Thomas. The Bulldogs ended the regular season tied with Colorado College both with 12-4 league marks, but TLU's head-to-head sweep of the CC Tigers gave them nod in the seeding.

As the top two seeds, both Trinity and Texas Lutheran earn byes into the semifinal round, which will be played later Friday afternoon/evening.

Colorado College (16-10; 12-4) will be the third seed, followed by St. Thomas (17-11; 9-7) as the fourth seed, Schreiner (19-12; 8-8) as the fifth seed and the host school, Southwestern (12-13; 7-9) as the sixth seed.

Saturday's championship match begins at 11 am CT.

The winner of the SCAC Volleyball Tournament earns an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III National Championship, which begins the following weekend.
