Volleyball headed to UT Dallas for NCAA Regional

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Southwestern University volleyball will make their 14th appearance in the NCAA Championship, traveling to Richardson, Texas to face La Verne on Friday at 12:30 pm. 

The University of Texas at Dallas will serve as the host-institution for the Regional, receiving the #1 seed.

This will be the first meeting between Southwestern (30-4) and La Verne (22-6) this season, however Head Coach Don Flora knows the program well. Flora is a graduate of ULV and led the Leopards for 11 seasons and to a national title in 2001.

Undoubtedly the toughest Regional in the tournament, it includes a total of seven nationally-ranked teams in #3 UT Dallas (30-2), #4 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (23-3), #5 Southwestern (30-4), #6 Colorado College (26-5), #16 Trinity (27-7), #19 La Verne (22-6), #25 Hendrix (21-7) and Whitworth (21-5).
