GEORGETOWN, Texas - Defense ruled the night as Southwestern held Huston-Tillotson to -.186 attack percentage in the match en route to a 3-0 win Tuesday evening. 

The Pirates (18-0) showed no signs of rust after their off-week and strengthened already strong parts of their game in preparation for the HTU match and return to SCAC play this weekend. 

Landri Brown led with 10 kills and a .316 attack percentage while Haley Yu added in six. 

The Pirates remain at home to host SCAC matches Friday and Saturday. Southwestern takes on Texas Lutheran at 6 p.m. Friday followed by Trinity at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and Schreiner at 5 p.m.
