GEORGETOWN, Texas – In a rare Tuesday night home match for Southwestern, the Pirates easily took care of business, defeating Mary Hardin-Baylor in straight sets 27-25, 25-19, 25-18.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southwestern steadily built their lead in the first set of the match but allowed UMHB back in it 18-16 before squeaking out the extended 27-25 set win.
- It was tight most of the way in the second set until the Pirates earned three, hard-fought straight points to go up 22-18 before closing out the set 25-19.
- The Pirates took a seven point lead midway through the third set, 13-6, and the 'Cru never threatened as Southwestern closed out the win 25-18.

- Kaitlyn Foster: 17 kills, .405 attack percentage, 12 digs
