SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Southwestern secured a straight set win with ease to start off day one of the SCAC Divisional at Trinity, winning 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pirates shot out of the gate to go ahead 8-1 and were never challenged, winning 25-15 in the first set.
- In the second set SU trailed 10-8 but closed the set on a 17-5 run to go up two sets to none.
- Southwestern's hitters were sensational in the third and final set, posting 17 kills with just two errors for a .417 attack percentage.

- Kaitlyn Foster: 11 kills, .417 attack percentage, 13 digs, 1 block
- Abbie Robb: 10 kills, .450 attack percentage

UP NEXT
Southwestern improves to 13-1 on the year and 4-0 in the SCAC while Austin falls to 10-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Pirates take on Centenary College at 3 pm.
