SHERMAN, Texas – Southwestern's potent offense continued in game two Saturday as the Pirates defeated Howard Payne 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Yellowjackets were held to -.091 attack percentage in set one as Southwestern posted a .378 attack percentage to win 25-10.
  • Southwestern continued strong in the second set, winning 25-13 and capitalizing on nine attack errors by HPU
  • With a 25-12 win in the third set Southwestern closed out the 3-0 win.

The Pirates improve to 8-1 on the year and open SCAC conference action next weekend in San Antonio. First facing Trinity on Friday at 4 pm and taking on TLU and Schreiner Saturday.
