SHERMAN, Texas – Southwestern rebounded with a huge defensive effort to defeat Hardin-Simmons University 3-0 Friday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hardin-Simmons never hit over .053 in any set in the match as SU never allowed more than 20 points.
- Southwestern closed the first set on a 8-0 run and the second set on a 6-0 run.
- The Pirates hit .206 as a team with four aces and eight blocks.
