GEORGETOWN, Texas – Southwestern closed out a perfect weekend with a 3-0 win over Whitworth University on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Southwestern opened the match on a 6-0 run and cruised to the 25-10 set one win, allowing just two Whitworth kills the entire set.
• Whitworth opened the second set in the lead, but a rally midway through the frame put the Pirates up 14-12 and paved the way for the 25-22 win
• Outstanding play at the net allowed SU to build a commanding ten point lead, 16-6 and closed out the sweep 25-16.
