honors. Also named in the report were Sam Lingamfelter (Third Team
All-American) and teammates Christina Nicholls and Lindsay Thompson
who were Honorable Mention selections.
Gentry’s Second-Team All-American selection comes after

match for the second consecutive season. She is the 2008 and 2009
SCAC Player of the Year by leading the conference with 3.83 kills
per set while posting a hitting percentage of .246 on the season.

while leading the SCAC with 5.52 digs per set and being named the
league's Backrow Player of the Year for an unprecedented third
consecutive year. She also was named the 2009 SCAC Tournament Most
Valuable Player.
Sophomores Nicholls and Thompson, also All-South Region
selections along with teammates Gentry and Lingamfelter, were named
to the Honorable Mention All-American roster for the first time.

while Thompson was second on the team in kills, averaging 3.11
kills per set and had an impressive .348 hitting percentage.

junior middle blocker Emily Perkins who was a First Team
All-American selection, Aly Hazelwood from Trinity who was a Third
Team All-American and Honorable Mention selections Meredith Ballard
and Amy Schornack of Colorado College.
