LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Southwestern University junior Kimi Prevost was tabbed Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Prevost logged a pair of top-15 performances at last Saturday's Trinity Open in San Antonio. The Tyler native posted a personal best in the discus throw with a toss of 28.98m, which was good for 14th place. Additionally, she registered a 13th-place finish in the shot put with a heave of 10.05m.

Prevost and the rest of the Pirates will return to action Friday, as the squad competes in the Marc Randle Classic in Tyler.
